Written years later…

Looking back, this was our first hike into the Whites – we started ‘small’, somewhat joking about the height of the Sandwich mountain being only 10 or so feet below the 4000′ threshold – maybe we could stand on one another’s shoulders and reach the 4K mark.  Little did we know this would lead to a multi-year journey for the 48 4000 footers!

Regardless of stature, the trails were said to provide some nice views…
