This hike was all about introducing my nephew, Jason, to the beauty of the White Mountains.  He’d done plenty of hiking and outdoors activity, being an Eagle Scout and having done some of the Boy Scout High Adventure programs (and received the High Adventure Triple Crown<\/a> award).      With some summer time available, we hatched the idea of an overnight in one of the AMC mountain huts, and with that, we settled on doing the Southern Presidentials: Eisenhower, Pierce, and Jackson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
