We had first planned this trip for September, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all remember what happened in 2020 &#8211; of course, it didn&#8217;t happen. So we replanned for September, 2021.  Nope, we weren&#8217;t quite out of the woods (though we DID make it to Canada, just not the way we expected).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, we FINALLY made it to the Canadian Rockies, though even that trip was endangered by significant wildfires in Jasper, devastating the area and causing us to do some last-minute replanning.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were still blessed to be able to make it to the area &#8211; visiting Lake Louise, Banff, and Olympic National Park in the state of Washington.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They say, the third time is the charm &#8211; so it is for us and the Canadian rockies.
