Combine that with our love of hiking and it&#8217;s a winning combination.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was while we were in the Jungfrau &#8211; our first international hiking adventure &#8211; we first heard of the GR10.   As it turns out, these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffrandonnee.fr\/randonner\/sentiers\/decouvrir-les-itineraires-de-grande-randonnee-gr\">Grande Randonnee<\/a> (GR), are scattered through Europe and, of course, in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We chose to do a section of the GR10, which crosses the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, starting and ending in Pau, site of many Tour de France stages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an avid follower of the Tour de France, one can&#8217;t help but be a bit awe struck by the Pyrenees.
