We had both recently and FINALLY ( ! ) retired. To celebrate, we wanted to do something special and memorable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were also coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary. For us, one of our favorite cities is Paris (what’s not to love?!) – so it was an easy choice to visit Europe – and we thought, tool around Europe like a few college kids – Eurail pass and all, though minus the backpacks and some of the financial restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was difficult was filling in the details – where, how long in each location, etc, etc. There’s just SSSOOO much to take in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ended up creating a month-long journey, taking us through 9 countries, with a mix of cities – Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Munich, and Paris – and mountains, Lake Bled (Slovenia) and the Stubai Alps (in Fulpmes, a village just south of Innsbruck).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an epic journey – exhausting in many way – epic in so many other ways!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
