Redlining the North East

WAS: ne_redlining.php

Something of a “hiker’s scorecard” – Redlining is a visual way of showing where one’s been, visits to the many different trails. It’s a fun way of keeping track.

Below is a map of the northeast, redlined with our hikes. Trailheads in black, hikes in red (duh!). Hovering over a trailhead will show details of the hike, including a blog of the hike – click on the trailhead to view more.

Also included are trax for the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail (Vermont’s long distance trail). Since I discovered a love for hiking a bit later in life, I’ll probably never get the chance to complete the entire Appalachian Trail – yet one can still dream!
